Gauhati High Court has recently released an employment notification for recruiting of 12 (twelve) nos Grade-I posts of Assam Judicial Service for the practicing Advocates.

Total no of Post: 12 Nos.
Pay Scale: Rs. 1,44,840/- to Rs. 1,94,660/- with other allowances as admissible under the Rules
Elegible Criteria: Gauhati High Court Recruitment
1. A candidate must be a citizen of India as defined in Afticles 5 & 6 of the Constitution of India
2. Must be holder of Degree in Law from a recognized University
3. Must be practicing as an Advocate in Courts of Civil and Criminal jurisdiction on the last date fixed for receipt of applications and must have been so practicing for a period of not less than 7 (seven) years as on such date
N.B.- I Will have to provide certificate of continuous practice issued by competent authority {BAR(s) in which the candidate is practicing) at the time of document verificationf
Age limit: Gauhati High Court Recruitment
(Minimum and maximum age limit will be as on the last date fixed for receiot of aoolications)

Selection Process: Gauhati High Court Recruitment
The candidates should go through various selection process prepared by Guwahati High Court Recruitment Board.
Stage-1 (Priliminary Examination - MCQ)
Total Mark- 100 marks
Time duration- 2 hours
Syllabus- See the Advt.
Stage-II (Main/ Writing Examination)
Main (Written) Examination will consists of 4 (four) papers (Descriptive type). Detailed syllabus of the Main (Written) Examination has been enclosed with the Adveftisement.
Stage-III (Interview/ Viva-voce)
The interview/viva-voce will be of 50 (fifty) marks. The ratio in which the candidates will be called for viva voce/interview is 1:3 (3 candidates against 1 post) subject to marks obtained in stage 2.
