Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has recently released an employment notification for recruiting various posts of Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission for State and Districts

State level: Member of the Assam State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (Non Judicial)

District level: Member of District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission
Number of Posts: 34 Nos (Open category)
Districts: Darrang, Dhemaji, Bongaigaon, Barpeta, Lakhimpur, Karbi Anglong, Goalpara, Nalbari, Sivasagar, Morigaon, Dhubri, Tinsukia, Nagaon, Kokrajhar, Kamrup, Hailakandi, Sribhumi, Golaghat, Dima Hasao, Cachar
Pay scale: 30,000 to 1,10,000 with Gross Pay: 17,500/- under Pay bank: 4

Education Qualification: APSC Recruitment
Candidates who have completed their graduation in regular mode from a UGC recognized institution. Any applicant who has completed bachelors degree through distant mode of learning will not be considered eligible to apply for the posts.

Experience: APSC Recruitment
A person of ability, integrity and standing, and having special knowledge and professional experience of not less than 10 years in consumer affairs, law, public affairs, administration, economics, commerce, industry, finance, management, engineering, technology, public health or medicine
Age limit: APSC Recruitment
State level posts: not be less than 40 years of age as on 01/01/02025
District level posts: not be less than 35 years of age as on 01/01/02025
Note: The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Class-X/Class-XII Examination Admit Card/Pass Certificate/Marksheet issued by a recognized Central/State Board/Council where Age/Date of Birth (DOB) is clearly reflected.
No other document shall be accepted in lieu of the above mentioned documents for age proof.
